Фанаты Dead by Daylight разочарованы новым обновлением «Инструменты пыток». Почему?

Ходят слухи, что место хранит в себе тьму — бездонную яму, из которой невозможно выбраться. Новый убийца — Легион The Legion Импульсивный гений, способный управлять разумом подростков, превращая их в безумную толпу. Игрок сможет предстать в облике одного из выживших и с помощью своей силы Feral Frenzy ловить ничего не ожидающих противников. В состоянии Feral Frenzy Легион движется быстрее, а пропущенные атаки быстрее восстанавливаются.

Целью выживших является нахождение и починка пяти генераторов и последующий побег за пределы карты через одни из двух ворот или через люк, который открывается, если жертва остаётся одна. Во время починки генераторов время от времени возникает мини-игра с проверкой реакции, провалив которую выживший взорвет генератор, оповестив убийцу о местонахождении и откатив тем самым прогресс ремонта.

Другой игрок, являющийся убийцей, должен находить, преследовать и убивать выживших путём повешения на крюк или своими руками при определённых условиях, одним из которых является взятие подношения Memento mori. Для убийства необходимо повесить жертву трижды: при этом на первой стадии выживший можно попытаться спрыгнуть с крюка, а на второй должен проходить мини-игру на реакцию. Во время нахождения на крюке на 1 и 2 стадиях идет обратный отсчет, по окончании которого выживший переходит в следующую фазу. Выжившие могут снимать друг друга с крюков, обезвреживать и ломать крюки и ловушки, вытаскивать жертву из ловушек, лечить раненого без аптечки, а себя либо с аптечкой, либо с помощью навыка «Сам себе доктор», без аптечки. Когда убийца приближается к выжившему, жертва слышит сердцебиение и устрашающую мелодию.

Чем ближе убийца, тем быстрее бьётся сердце у выжившего, что даёт последнему возможность сбежать или спрятаться.

Fixed multiples issues to the Survivor interactions and visibility with memory fragments and memory portal interaction when Victor was unbound nearby Players when playing against The Twins.

Fixed soft lock with bloodweb purchase when switching characters. Terror Radius Visual Feedback The Terror Radius Visual Feedback is now displayed when the audio level reaches a certain audible threshold to avoid the indicator being shown when the audio is barely discernible.

You will no longer wake up from The Nightmare when it is activated. Ultimate Weapon will now reveal Survivor auras instead of making them scream. Its activation is now only 15 seconds. The overall size of Haddonfield has been reduced, and the length of fences and hedges has been shortened by adding more openings to traverse the map.

The number of houses on the map has been reduced to only include those you can enter. This change will reduce the strength of some loops available to Survivors. However, additional lockers and pallets have been added to the edge of the map to make up for the changes to the number of houses being reduced. These changes will alter the dynamic of how The Killer and Survivors play the map and should lead to exciting strategies. Last year, Behavior Interactive asked players to vote on which animal they wanted to be added to the Yamaoka Estate maps to celebrate DbD Day.
