We have revealed unto you Muhammad the Scripture for mankind with truth. Then whosoever goes right it is for his soul, and whosoever strays, strays only to its hurt. And you are not a warder over them. His is the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. And afterward unto Him you will be brought back. They are glad. Creator of the heavens and the earth! Knower of the Invisible and the Visible! You will judge between your slaves concerning that wherein they used to differ.
Despair not of the Mercy of Allah, Who forgives all sins. O you fools! Glorified is He and High Exalted from all that they ascribe as partner unto Him. Then it is blown a second time, and behold them standing waiting! And He is Best Aware of what they do. Unto Him is the journeying. The promise of Allah is true. And ask forgiveness of your sin, and hymn the praise of your Lord at fall of night and in the early hours. Little do you reflect!
When He ordains a thing, He says unto it only: Be! And that which they were wont to mock befell them. And then the disbelievers will be ruined. But most of them turn away so that they hear not. It is inspired in me that your Allah is One Allah, therefore take the straight path unto Him and seek forgiveness of Him. As for those who believe and do good works, for them is a reward enduring. He and none else is the Lord of the Worlds. They said: We come, obedient. That is the measuring of the Mighty, the Knower.
Those who disbelieve in the Reminder when it comes unto them are guilty , for lo! It is an unassailable Scripture. It is a revelation from the Wise, the Owner of Praise. And your Lord is not at all a tyrant to His slaves. Does not your Lord suffice, since He is Witness over all things? Allah, He is the Forgiver, the Merciful. A host will be in the Garden, and a host of them in the Flame. And the wrong-doers have no friend, nor helper. But Allah, He alone is the Protecting Friend.
He quickens the dead, and He is Able to do all things. He has made for you pairs of yourselves, and of the cattle also pairs, whereby He multiplies you. Naught is as His likeness; and He is the Hearer, the Seer. How can you know? Say O Muhammad, unto mankind : I ask of you no fee therefor, save loving kindness among kinsfolk. And whoso scores a good deed We add unto its good for him. Allah is Forgiving, Responsive. Yours is only to convey the message. And lo!
When We cause man to taste of mercy from Us he exults therefor. And if some evil strikes them because of that which their own hands have sent before, then lo! Man is an ingrate. He is Exalted, Wise. You knew not what the Scripture was, nor what the Faith. But We have made it a light whereby We guide whom We will of Our bondmen. Do not all things reach Allah at last? We have appointed it a Lecture, in Arabic that haply you may understand. In the Source of Decrees, which We possess, it is indeed sublime, decisive.
We have apportioned among them their livelihood in the life of the world, and raised some of them above others in rank that some of them may take labour from others; and the Mercy of your Lord is better than the wealth that they amass. You are on a Right Path. It is in truth a Reminder for you and for your folk; and you will be questioned. We revealed it on a blessed night - Lo! He quickens and gives death; your Lord and Lord of your forefathers. In the heavens and the earth are portents for believers. And those who disbelieve the revelations of their Lord, for them there is a painful doom of wrath. Herein verily are portents for a people who reflect. And afterward unto your Lord you will be brought back.
They can avail you naught against Allah. As for the wrong-doers, some of them are friends of others; and Allah is the Friend of those who ward off evil. And it will be said unto them : This day you are requited what you used to do. We have caused all that you did to be recorded. That is the evident triumph. But you were scornful and became a guilty folk. Show me what they have created of the earth. Or have they any portion in the heavens? Bring me a scripture before this Scripture , or some vestige of knowledge in support of what you say , if you are truthful.
I do but follow that which isinspired in me, and I am but a plain warner. Allah guides not wrong-doing folk. Those who say: Our Lord is Allah, and thereafter walk aright, there shall no fear come upon them neither shall they grieve. And, when it was finished, turned back to their people, warning. We have heard a scripture which has been revealed after Moses, confirming that which was before it, guiding unto the truth and a right road. He will forgive you some of your sins and guard you from a painful doom. Such are in error manifest. Aye, He verily is Able to do all things. Thus Allah coins their similitudes for mankind.
Allah knows both your place of turmoil and your place of rest. Those who disbelieve and turn from the way of Allah and oppose the messenger after the guidance has been manifested unto them, they hurt Allah not a jot, and He will make their actions fruitless. Obey Allah and obey the messenger, and render not your actions vain. Those who disbelieve and turn from the Way of Allah and then die disbelievers, Allah surely will not pardon them. Those who swear allegiance unto you Muhammad , swear allegiance only unto Allah. The Hand of Allah is above their hands. We have prepared a flame for disbelievers. He forgives whom He wills, and punishes whom He wills. And Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful.
And Allah suffices as a Witness. And those with him are hard against the disbelievers and merciful among themselves. You O Muhammad see them bowing and falling prostrate in worship , seeking bounty from Allah and His Acceptance. The mark of them is on their foreheads from the traces of prostration. Such is their likeness in the Torah and their likeness in the Gospel - like as sown corn that sends forth its shoot and strengthens it and rises firm upon its stalk, delighting the sowers - that He may enrage the disbelievers with the sight of them. Allah has promised, unto such of them as believe and do good works, forgiveness and immense reward. He it is that gives livelihood, the Lord of unbreakable might. By the Grace of Allah you are neither soothsayer nor madman. Nay, but they will not believe!
Or are they the creators? Nay, but they are sure of nothing! Or have they been given charge thereof?

There is no Allah save Him. Say O Muhammad : It is not for me to change it of my accord. I only follow that which is inspired in me. If I disobey my Lord I fear the retribution of an awful Day. I dwelt among you a whole lifetime before it came to me. Have you then no sense? The guilty never are successful. Say: Then bring a surah like unto it, and call for help on all you can besides Allah, if you are truthful. Even so did those before them deny. Then see what was the consequence for the wrong-doers! You are innocent of what I do; and I am innocent of what you do. But can you make the deaf to hear even though they apprehend not? But can you guide the blind even though they see not? Allah wrongs not mankind in aught; but mankind wrong themselves. And when their messenger comes on the Day of Judgment it will be judged between them fairly, and they will not be wronged. If you are in doubt of my Religion, then know that I worship not those whom you worship instead of Allah, but I worship Allah Who causes you to die, and I have been commanded to be of the believers. He strikes with it whom He will of his bondmen. He is the Forgiving, the Merciful. Now has the Truth from your Lord come unto you. So whosoever is guided, is guided only for the good of his soul, and whosoever errs errs only against it. And I am not a warder over you. And He is the Best of Judges. This is a Scripture the revelations whereof are perfected and then expounded. I am unto you from Him a warner and a bringer of good tidings. Say: Then bring ten Surahs, the like thereof, invented, and call on everyone you can beside Allah, if you are truthful! Will you then be of those who surrender? He is Seer of what you do. Good deeds annul ill-deeds. This is reminder for the mindful. And herein has come unto you the Truth and an exhortation and a reminder for believers. I and whosoever follows me - Glory be to Allah! Say: Allah. Say: Take you then others beside Him for protectors, which, even for themselves, have neither benefit nor hurt? Say: Is the blind man equal to the seer, or is darkness equal to light? Or assign they unto Allah partners who created the like of His creation so that the creation which they made and His creation seemed alike to them? Say: Allah, and whosoever has knowledge of the Scripture, is Sufficient Witness between me and you. And woe unto the disbelievers from an awful doom;[Surah Ibrahim Chapter of Abraham , Verses 1-2] And bethink you of the day when We raise in every nation a witness against them of their own folk, and We bring you Muhammad as a witness against these. And We reveal the Scripture unto you as an exposition of all things, and a guidance and a mercy and good tidings for those who have surrendered to Allah. Allah enjoins justice and kindness, and giving to kinsfolk, and forbids lewdness and abomination and wickedness. He exhorts you in order that you may take heed. He, only He, is the Hearer, the Seer. Falsehood is ever bound to vanish. There is none who can change His Words, and you will find no refuge beside Him. My Lord inspires in me that your Allah is only One Allah. And whoever hopes for the meeting with his Lord, let him do righteous work, and make none sharer of the worship due unto his Lord. Increase me in knowledge. Has there not come unto them the proof of what is in the former Scriptures? If only you had sent unto us a messenger, so that we might have followed your revelations before we were thus humbled and disgraced! Be He Glorified! Nay, but those whom they call sons are honoured slaves;[Surah Al-Anbiya Chapter of the Prophets , Verses 25-26] We appointed immortality for no mortal before you. If you die, can they be immortal! And they would deny all mention of the Beneficent. Nay, but they turn away from mention of their Lord! There is a plain statement for folk who are devout. Will you then surrender unto Him? Judge you with truth. Our Lord is the Beneficent, Whose help is to be implored against that which you ascribe unto Him. Verily Allah helps one who helps Him. And Moses was denied; but I indulged the disbelievers a long while, then I seized them, and how terrible was My abhorrence! I am only a plain warner unto you. But Allah abolishes that which Satan proposes. Then Allah establishes His revelations. This your religion is one religion and I am your Lord, so keep your duty unto Me. Nay, but he brings them the Truth; and most of them are haters of the Truth. Nay, We have brought them their Reminder, but from their Reminder they now turn away. But the Bounty of your Lord is better, for He is Best of all who make provision. You summon them indeed unto a straight path. Small thanks give you! This is naught but fables of the men of old. Say: Will you not then remember? Say: Will you not then keep duty unto Him? Say: How then are you bewitched? They are liars. Glorified be Allah above all that they allege. And Exalted be He over all that they ascribe as partners unto Him! Forgive and have mercy, for You are Best of all who show mercy. But if you turn away, then it is for him to do only that wherewith he has been charged, and for you to do only that wherewith you have been charged. If you obey him, you will go aright. But the messenger has no other charge than to convey the message plainly. He has created everything and has meted out for it a measure. He ever is Forgiving, Merciful. Why is not an angel sent down unto him, to be a warner with him? And the evil-doers say: you are but following a man bewitched. It was not for us to choose any protecting friends beside You; but you did give them and their fathers ease till they forgot the warning and became lost folk. They verily ate food and walked in the markets. And We have appointed some of you a test for others: Will you be steadfast? And your Lord is ever Seer. Assuredly they think too highly of themselves and are scornful with great pride. It is revealed thus that We may strengthen your heart therewith; and We have arranged it in right order. But now you have denied the Truth , therefore there will be judgment. It is in the Scriptures of the men of old. Verily they are banished from the hearing. Is Allah Best, or all that you ascribe as partners unto Him? Is there any Allah beside Allah? Nay, but they are folk who ascribe equals unto Him! Nay, but most of them know not! Little do they reflect! High Exalted be Allah from all that they ascribe as partner unto Him! Say: Bring your proof, if you are truthful! Your Lord is full of bounty for mankind, but most of them do not give thanks. Your Lord knows surely all that their bosoms hide, and all that they proclaim. It is guidance and a mercy for believers. You can make none to hear, save those who believe Our revelations and who have surrendered.

Your Lord is full of bounty for mankind, but most of them do not give thanks. Your Lord knows surely all that their bosoms hide, and all that they proclaim. It is guidance and a mercy for believers. You can make none to hear, save those who believe Our revelations and who have surrendered. Therein verily are portents for a people who believe.
Are you rewarded aught save what you did? And your Lord is not unaware of what you mortals do. Did they not disbelieve in that which was given unto Moses of old? They say: Two magics that support each other; and they say: Lo! In both we are disbelievers.
It is the Truth from our Lord. Even before it we were of those who surrender unto Him. Peace be unto you! We desire not the ignorant. You O Muhammad guide not whom you love, but Allah guides whom He will.
And He is Best Aware of those who walk aright. And never did We destroy the townships unless the folk thereof were evil-doers. And they will cry unto them, and they will give no answer unto them, and they will see the Doom. Ah, if they had but been guided! They have never any choice.
Glorified be Allah and Exalted above all that they associate with Him! His is all praise in the former and the latter state , and His is the command, and unto Him you will be brought back. Will you not then hear? Will you not then see? Everything will perish save His Countenance.
His is the Command, and unto Him you will be brought back. Worship preserves from lewdness and iniquity, but verily remembrance of Allah is more important. And Allah knows what you do. And none deny Our Revelations save the disbelievers. Say: Portents are with Allah only, and I am but a plain warner.
Herein verily is mercy, and a reminder for folk who believe. He knows whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth. And those who believe in vanity and disbelieve in Allah, they it is who are the losers. My earth is spacious. Therefore serve Me only.
Then unto Us you will be returned. There they will dwell secure. Your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that wherein they used to differ. Keep your duty to Allah and obey not the disbelievers and the hypocrites. Allah is Knower, Wise.
Allah is Aware of what you do. Allah keeps good account. Remember Allah with much remembrance. We have sent you as a witness and a bringer of good tidings and a warner. Allah and His angels shower blessings on the Prophet.
O you who believe! Ask blessings on him and salute him with a worthy salutation. Those who malign Allah and His messenger, Allah has cursed them in the world and the Hereafter, and has prepared for them the doom of the disdained. Say: The knowledge of it is with Allah only. What can convey the knowledge unto You?
It may be that the Hour is nigh. Whosoever obeys Allah and His messenger, he verily has gained a signal victory. We offered the trust unto the heavens and the earth and the hills, but they shrank from bearing it and were afraid of it. And man assumed it. He has proved a tyrant and a fool.
As for such, theirs will be twofold reward for what they did and they will dwell secure in lofty halls. You alone are our Guardian, not them! Nay, but they worshipped the jinn; most of them were believers in them. And We shall say unto those who did wrong: Taste the doom of the Fire which you used to deny. Those who disbelieve say of the truth when it reaches them: This is naught else than mere magic.
How intense then was My Abhorrence of them! My Lord hurls the truth.
