In the NHL, he has continued to produce at an impressive rate and has shown he can run a powerplay. Some have given up on him, but if he remains healthy he can still reach his potential. His frame means he can win pick battles and maintain possession, and his quick hands and creativity mean he can create chances.
He is just as good as a setup man or a finisher. If he can round out his game and start to make the simple plays more consistently, he may end up higher on this list. However, the players above him have been more effective thus far. Standing at six-foot-three, 200 pounds, he is most effective below the hash marks where he can dictate play with his size, shot and vision. He also possesses a powerful release, making him a well-rounded threat.
This season we will see whether or not Vilardi can fully recover from the injuries that have plagued his career thus far. He plays a simple but highly effective game, using his slick hands to carry the puck into vantage points where he can beat the goalie himself with or find a teammate with ease.

Following this, he started his professional career with the Red Wings, playing 62 games in 2018-19. While he only posted 18 points during this time, there were still positive signs to build upon. While the Detroit Red Wings likely hoped for more, Michael Rasmussen has the toolkit to be a solid bottom-six forward for the franchise.
He played 80 games in 2021-22, and if that continues, he could become a solid bottom-six forward for the franchise. By many accounts Tippet was seen as being the best pure goalscorer available, and as a big-bodied forward coming off a 75-point season in 2016-17, some expected to be taken even higher on draft day. After his selection, TIppet was sent back to the Ontario Hockey League OHL to continue developing his game, which he did by posting dominant 70-plus point seasons in both 2017-18 and 2018-19. However, when taking the ice with Florida, Tippet just never was able to translate his scoring potential. He had great defensive analytics but struggled to post more than a handful of points.
In many ways, this was the right assumption, as the top-ten picks have shown a lot of good but underwhelming players.
Skating wise, he has great power in his stride and beats many junior-level players with ease. Offensively, he mostly stays away from the big load ups from the point, more often than not opting for an efficient approach focused on getting shots through to the net. He tore apart the U18s with six goals and 13 points in seven games and chipped in a couple of points at the World Juniors as a 17-year-old. Scouts describe a great deal of inconsistency to his game. He piled up 30 goals in just 52 games in the USHL thanks to an elite shot and a complete shooting arsenal that enables him to beat goaltenders from just about anywhere in the offensive zone. He finishes plays more than he makes them.
He has some difficulty dealing with heavy forechecks, but he thinks his way around problems. Cloud team. Somewhat heavy feet and amount of offensive upside at the next level are the question marks.

В один момент во время сезона ему прочили место в первой десятке, но вторая половина всё подпортила. Его резюме интересно тем, что пару лет назад он выступал в словацкой лиге. Последним был Денис Паршин в 2004 году. Клубы смирились с тем, что россияне будут приезжать в Северную Америку, но некоторых придётся подождать, а лучше потратить свой пик на одного молодого талантливого парня сейчас.
Из российских клубов московское «Динамо» поставило больше всего хоккеистов на этом драфте. Под 205-м номером «Дэвилз» забрали защитника Егора Зайцева, а самым последним россиянином стал форвард Иван Чехович, который также занимался в динамовской школе, но год назад уехал в Северную Америку. Права на Чеховича теперь у клуба «Сан-Хосе Шаркс», который три года не выбирал россиян на драфте. Чикагский драфт в очередной раз показал, что последние несколько лет в НХЛ не стоит говорить о «русском факторе». Клубы смирились с тем, что россияне будут приезжать в Северную Америку, но некоторых придётся подождать. Поэтому лучше потратить свой пик на одного молодого талантливого парня сейчас, чем потом кусать локти, когда кто-то подпишет соглашение с новым Артемием Панариным, как сделало «Чикаго» два года назад.
