Дело в том, что последние 7-8 месяцев выдержки в маленьких бочках действительно радикально улучшают его вкус, делают его более нежным и бархатистым. Фенольность по-прежнему присутствует, она никуда не делась. Если вы выпьете этот виски вечером, то утром дымно-торфяной привкус ещё будет во рту, хотя наверное не так сильно как после такого же количества Лафройг 10. Также улучшению вкуса способствует отсутствие холодной фильтрации и крепость, приближенная к бочковой. Отрицательные же отзывы происходят оттого, что изначально к этому виски предъявлялись неверные требования или имелись о нём ложные представления.
Название скотча несколько раз меняли, но в конце концов пришли к варианту «Singleton». В 2001 г. Виски не раз завоевывал призовые места на престижных конкурсах и выставках. Deanston Virgin Oak Продолжительный с нотками пряных специй, красных яблок покрытых, ванили, перчика с заметным подсушиванием. Что ж, оба виски имеют хороший баланс. Они простые, понятный, питьевые. По сути оба одного уровня - отличия лишь во вкусовщине, какие нотки больше нравятся, как и крепость 43 против 46. В остальном могу сказать, что словак ничем не уступает именитому шотландцу. А по показателю питейности даже и превосходит. Так что, если ищите солодовый виски для компаний, рыбалок и посиделок с друзьями, можно обратить внимание на Nestville Single Malt, который доступен, поставляется, а по цене - адекватность её каждый определяет для себя сам. Для меня это хороший пример того, что если не иметь стереотипов и слепого преклонения перед шотландским виски, то всегда можно найти интересные релизы в других странах, даже в тех, которые кажутся экзотическими для этого напитка. Но повторюсь, это моё мнение, я сделал его для себя, никого ни в чём уговаривать и убеждать не собираюсь. Если что-то не нравится, то лучше не брать, чтобы потом не разочаровываться. И как всегда главные вопросы: нужно ли его брать и стоит ли он своих денег.

Американский напиток не был бы американским, если бы везде не красовался орел с звездами. Как не крути бутылку, со всех сторон присутствует эта птица. Белоголового орлана нельзя встретить разве что на донышке. В итоге сворачиваем голову бутылке открываем пробку и вдыхаем аромат напитка. А там воняет и это значит, что всё в порядке, вы открыли виски. До этого открывал виски побюджетней и они источали такой же аромат. Как пить виски? Конечно же ртом...
Все помнят виски со льдом, виски с колой, виски с содовой. Но раз напиток душевный как заявлено и стоит не так дешево, то лучше его пить чистяком. Далее конечно можно выпендриваться, ведь виски пьют из роксов, увесистых прямых бокалов с толстым дном олд-фэшн, тумблер, драм. Также бурбон это напиток не клубный, он любит дом и небольшую компанию в идеале одного собеседника. Зачем мне эти знания я без понятия т.
И как всегда главные вопросы: нужно ли его брать и стоит ли он своих денег. И здесь ответы очень просты. Если есть сомнения в том, что этот виски вам нужен - то его не стоит брать, можно будет легко разочароваться. И если вы не можете позволить купить виски по указанному ценнику, то он явно не стоит своих денег для вас.

И серебряная ачивка нам говорит, что виски не выдающийся, но в целом норм. Пожалуй единственное, что в Акентошане не как у остальных в Шотландии, это тройная перегонка, которая больше характерна Ирландским дистиллятам. Что касается выдержки, то это бочки из под бурбона и хереса. Но как мне кажется, хереса там совсем чуть-чуть, его совершенно не ощущается в запахе и он едва-едва проявляется сладостью во вкусе. Познакомился я с этим виски совершенно случайно - после долгой прогулки в не самую комфортную погоду заскочил в первый попавшийся бар хлопнуть что-то согревающее, выбора в меню практически не было и я решил что вот он момент попробовать что-то новое. И это был чрезвычайно удачный выбор, так как Акентошен идеально подходит на роль виски, который можно "хлопнуть" без эстетского смакования. Теперь о самом напитке: Аромат: Лёгкий цитрусовый аромат с нотами ванили и кислинкой зеленого яблочка.
