The ability to edit the fields directly in the schedule will also speed up the workflow. This was mainly because it needed more options and capabilities in other system families. However, with the release of Revit 2024, a new feature called Toposolids, which harnesses all the capabilities of a system family, has been introduced. Toposolids can now have layers with thickness and materials similar to other system families. Currently, voids can be used to cut out sections of Toposolids. However, a more efficient tool is expected to be developed to handle cuts in Toposolids.
Families can now be hosted on Toposolids, including floor-based families and railings, which can be helpful in various projects. Our team is eagerly waiting for this feature to be fully developed. By holding down the CTRL key, choose the necessary views, including model views, schedules, legends, and drafting views, then drag them onto a sheet. Alternatively, utilize the Add Views to Sheet tool in the View ribbon tab, select multiple views, click OK, and promptly place them on the sheet.
Resize All Schedule Rows We always like seeing schedule updates in new Revit releases and this one is a nice one. Revit has added the ability to resize all rows in a schedule. This is going to be nice to quickly adjust the height of the rows all at once. One thing we did notice when we first turned on the feature for All rows is that it took the height of the smallest row in the schedule. In our case, it looked like nothing happened as the rows with larger heights were still the same size as before. A Color Book is a library or book of premade colors that can be quickly added to your material. The new button has replaced the Pantone button on the Color window, but the nice thing is they added all the Pantone colors as Color Books so you will not lose anything. The one thing we do hope they add soon is a search bar in the Color Books window. They do have a Color field but we have found that you have to be pretty specific for it to work. The nice thing about Color Books is that there are some available out there to download and use since they have been around for so long. Search in Project Browser Once you use this new feature you will wonder what took Autodesk so long to add it. In the Project Browser box, you will see at the top a Search bar. This will allow you to search anything in this property box, incluing all the views, schedules, sheets, families, groups, Revit Links, and basically anything else loaded into the project. The search is super responsive — it will start the search as soon as you start typing and is pretty fast and smooth. Open Sheet Directly from Drawing Area In the last few years, Revit has added more connections between views and sheets. This year they added another one with the Open Sheet command. If you click on that it will open the sheet the view is placed on. You can also do this from the project browser by right-clicking on a view in the Project Browser list and then selecting Open Sheet.

A single template file for all the disciplines. The new sample model, Snowdon Towers, is a mixed-use development that includes residential, commercial and retail space. The model is highly detailed and demonstrates best practices for modeling, documentation, and collaboration. It includes seven linked models, phasing and design options , and a detailed site model created with the enhanced tools from this release. Dark mode applies to all primary UI elements, such as ribbons, palettes, dialogs, and main menus. The canvas viewport background will also be automatically set to a dark or light color based on your UI selection. But not really, because the dark theme does not cover the secondary menus yet. Hopefully this will be fixed in one of the next hotfixes for this release. I find that the new icons and the dark mode make the interface a lot clearer and easier to use. The TopoSolid tool allows you to create site elements that have depth and thickness, unlike the TopoSurface tool, which only created flat surfaces. The TopoSolid tool works similarly to the floor tool. You first sketch an extrusion boundary with magenta lines, then you can modify the sub-elements by adding points at specific heights to create slopes.

Что нового в Revit 2024.1.1
Here in the UK United Kingdom we only tend to detail non-standard shapes and only show these details in the bending schedule, but I know that other countries have a requirement for bending details on all rebar. Bending Details are created as true vector geometry and, as such, will update and change automatically if the host rebar is amended. Bending details can be placed in views by selecting the reinforcement bar and then selecting the Bending Detail command from the context ribbon. The detail can then be placed in a free location, or you can use the Align to Bar command to keep the detail orthogonal. The Bending Detail is driven by standard Revit Type properties and, as such, you can have multiple types that you can use in different situations. The Bending Details also make use of Revit dimension styles so you will need to setup a couple of dimension styles to support the Bending Detail tools. You can also configure the amount of detail that is displayed within the bending detail. For example, you could simply show the segment length dimensions or recover all the dimensions and angles for each segment as well as hooks and linear dimensions. There are also a few options around the unfolding or offsetting of Bending Details.
When you have shapes such as links that overlap it could be confusing when showing lengths and angles of the hooks. These 3 configurations are shown in the image below using a standard link. Currently, the Bending Details cannot be tagged but I am sure that Autodesk will add this functionality in future releases. The bending details could also become a solution for certain detailing conventions such as tick and tag in sectional views and the display of bars in plan. Bending Details in Schedules The Bending Details can also be used in schedules which is especially useful for non-standard shape codes. It is worth noting that you will only see the shape once the schedule is placed onto a sheet. Again, in many other regions and countries, shape codes are always shown in the schedule regardless. In the example below, Bending Details are shown in the bending schedule with the new auto size option for rows with images.
In the above image, the segment names are displayed to reduce the amount of space required but you can also configure the Bending Details specifically for use within schedules. Here in the UK, it would only be necessary to show the bending sketch for non-standard shapes so it would be useful to see a feature where you could control which shape codes use the new Bending Detail and display on the schedule. Again, this is the first iteration, and I am sure we will see other additions to this new feature in future releases. We will now look at a feature that was released in Revit 2023. Whilst this is an amazingly simple tool it really makes a difference when working with rebar. In the example below we have a rebar set which is configured for the spacing and number of bars.

Та же ерунда с категорией «Обозначения подъемов и опусков». Фильтрация по отметкам труб, воздуховодов, лотков и коробов Теперь при создании фильтра для труб, воздуховодов, лотков и коробов можно выбирать кучу всяких отметок, в том числе с учётом изоляции. Обновление формулы Халанда для воздуховодов Просто цитата из справки: «Обновлена формула Халанда для расчета потери давления в прямом сегменте воздуховода. Теперь вместо эквивалентного диаметра используется гидравлический диаметр». Особо добавить нечего. Модель энергопотребления с учётом скрытых элементов Если кто-то этим вдруг пользовался, то теперь можно сначала настроить видимость только тех элементов, которые нужны рассчитывать, а уже потом считать. Ну чисто теоретически тогда можно скрывать ненужные стены и оставлять только один «слой» из стен, предварительно задав ему термическое сопротивление всей стены, и так считать теплопотери. Вот как-то так. Особое предупреждение тем, кто коллекционирует Revit ранних версий 2019 и младше. Так что пользуйтесь легальным софтом там, где это возможно.

Resize All Schedule Rows When a schedule on a sheet is selected, there are now a few options in the Properties Palette to control the row height and rotation on the sheet. Schedule Revision Clouds Revision clouds can now be scheduled. This includes the ability to schedule related information such as the sheet or view name that the cloud is placed on. Figure 13. Open Sheet Directly from View If a view is placed on a sheet, that sheet can now be opened quickly via right-clicking within the view and selecting Open Sheet as shown here. Figure 14. These are spaced out sufficiently so they do not overlap, but they likely require manual adjustment once placed. It is also possible to drag views from one sheet to another within the Project Browser as shown in Figure 16, in which case the views are positioned in the same location. Figure 15. Sorting of Project Parameters in Properties Project parameters are now sorted alphanumerically in the instance and type properties dialogs. Family parameters are unchanged from previous behavior. Do I think some tools should be recreated from scratch instead of getting patched? But overall, Autodesk did a good job. The most significant changes are with the site tools. Toposurfaces are gone, replaced with Toposolid. Overall, this is excellent news. However, there are a few quirks with the new site tools that I hope get resolved.
There is also a new default template, a fantastic sample model, and UI improvements. Dynamo and the Dynamo Player keep getting better. Finally, there are dozens of small changes to improve the usability of various tools. This post covers General and Architecture features. Specific MEP and Structure improvements are mentioned, but the complete notes are available on Autodesk blog post.
Toposurface have been killed and replaced by Toposolid. The Subregion tool has been replaced by Sub-Divide. The way you create site elements is completely different. The following pages are going to cover these significant changes. What if floors and toposurfaces had a baby together?
The new toposolid tool works in a very similar way to floors. First, you need to sketch an extrusion boundary with purple lines. Then, you can modify the Sub Elements in a similar way to Roofs and Floors. Add points at specific heights to create the slopes.
Thus, real-time rendering provided by D5 Render comes in handy for an instant preview of design projects. It has a livesync plugin to connect with Revit 2024 so that designers can see their projects rendered on the fly. Это БИМ, сударыня. Работа с координационными моделями Так называют в справке модели Нэвисворкса, подгруженные в Ревит.
Теперь можно включить точки привязки к элементам этих моделей и ловить их на плоских видах и на 3Д. Кроме того, при выделении элемента в такой модели, можно увидеть свойства элемента, но только для той, что подгружена из облака. Динамо 2. Подробно останавливаться не буду, не работал с Динамо в 2023 Ревите, сравнить будет сложно. Визуально вроде не особо поменялось. Взаимодействие с видами и листами Теперь можно выделить в диспетчере несколько видов и спецификаций и сразу все перетащить на лист. Ревит их сам раскидает, потом нужно будет руками поправить и готово. Если вид размещён на листе, то можно нажать по нему правой кнопкой мыши в диспетчере и выбрать команду «Открыть лист» — Ревит откроет лист с этим видом. Альбомы цветов Раньше в Ревите были только палитры Пантон, а теперь их расширили и — самое приятное — добавили отдельную палитру, ну или альбом, для цветов по RAL.
Менять цвета и особенно создавать материалы будет проще. Не очень удобно сделали, я бы предпочёл, чтобы цвет не сразу применялся, а сначала выделялся в списке. Сортировка параметров проекта Раньше параметры проекта сортировались по времени их добавления в проект. По факту это сортировка не по времени, а по ID параметров. Чем позже добавляете параметр, тем больший номер в ID он получит, вот и получается сортировка по времени. Теперь в свойствах типа и экземпляра эти параметры сортируются по имени в алфавитном порядке. Очень хорошо.

This view style allows you to view materials with textures without the performance hit of the Realistic view. I find it very helpful to be able to create high quality images of my model without having to spend too much time or resources.
