Perk Updates We received a bunch of feedback on the two Perks which were tweaked in this past PTB, so we went back to the drawing board to deliver a new set of changes. Furtive Chase We initially increased the terror radius reduction for each token, though many still did not find this a very appealing choice. Furtive Chase will be receiving a rework when the update goes live. When the Obsession is rescued from the hook, the rescuer becomes the Obsession unchanged.
With this new version, Furtive Chase rewards the Killer for switching targets and allows them to find a new Survivor to chase more quickly after hooking. Background Player This Perk is most often used for saving teammates, allowing you to get into position quickly in key moments. This way, Background Player will allow you to cover more distance quicker than before, potentially allowing you to get into position in time to make the save. The Trapper We were delighted to see such a positive reaction to the adjustments we made to The Trapper. As we dug through the PTB feedback, we noticed many of you found it impractical to wander so far to gather your traps at the start of the match. Shattered Square Last but certainly not least, we have a few more adjustments on the way for the Shattered Square.

Common Unlocking is now done with a press and hold mechanic to allow for a confirmation process free of pop ups. The section for getting more Auric Cells can now be accessed through the Store, and it can also be accessed by clicking the Auric Cells counter on the top right corner of the screen. Kill switched options are going to be available for unlocking, yet we are making sure to communicate it with a pop up for players to confirm they still want to proceed. Search bars have been included in most sections to allow finding Characters, Collections, and Cosmetics easier.

Другой игрок, являющийся убийцей, должен находить, преследовать и убивать выживших путём повешения на крюк или своими руками при определённых условиях, одним из которых является взятие подношения Memento mori. Для убийства необходимо повесить жертву трижды: при этом на первой стадии выживший можно попытаться спрыгнуть с крюка, а на второй должен проходить мини-игру на реакцию. Во время нахождения на крюке на 1 и 2 стадиях идет обратный отсчет, по окончании которого выживший переходит в следующую фазу. Выжившие могут снимать друг друга с крюков, обезвреживать и ломать крюки и ловушки, вытаскивать жертву из ловушек, лечить раненого без аптечки, а себя либо с аптечкой, либо с помощью навыка «Сам себе доктор», без аптечки. Когда убийца приближается к выжившему, жертва слышит сердцебиение и устрашающую мелодию. Чем ближе убийца, тем быстрее бьётся сердце у выжившего, что даёт последнему возможность сбежать или спрятаться. Разработчики отметили, что никаких ограничений для российских жителей вносить не будут — они смогут и дальше играть в уже купленный проект. Ситуация затронет и мобильную Dead by Daylight. Её нельзя скачивать, но если игра уже установлена, то доступ у геймеров из России сохранится.
Отечественные пользователи больше не смогут приобрести внутриигровые наборы, но всё ещё могут тратить ранее купленные Золотые Клетки.
