The actual historical version of this armor is Brigandine. Brigandine is a series of metal plate strips bound together on the outside with leather or fabric to generally cover the torso wearer. Because of the construction, this armor is very flexible, allowing for better mobility and movement. Medium Armor Hide: Hide suffers from the same issues that padded armor does. This is also an easy armor to produce as it basically is treated Hide from an animal or monster, cut and wrapped to fit the wearer. Chain Shirt: This armor is relatively common as it is flexible and thin enough to be worn under clothing but not so restrictive that it is impossible to move.
