Новая часть популярной анимационной трилогии ожидалась в кинотеатрах 29 марта 2024 года, однако из-за распоряжения профсоюза о прекращении работы актеры не могут завершить запись реплик в срок, сообщил источник в Sony. Новую дату выхода планируется объявить в ближайшие недели. На старой дате остались «Убийцы цветочной луны» Мартина Скорсезе и безымянный проект Apple.
И вот, сейчас для буквально тех же людей, что читали истории про Паучка-подростка, ныне выросших, в рамках возрождённой идеи Ultimate стартовала тоже морально более взрослая история о Человеке-Пауке, который начинает свои приключения на четвёртом десятке. И первый же выпуск обещает нам фантастическую сагу о Спайди, которого мы никогда не знали, но признаём с первых же страниц! Каков премис: злой Рид Ричардс с Земли-1610 старая Ultimate решает создать свой мир, в котором эпоха героев никогда не наступала: он выбрал Землю-6160 новая Ultimate и предотвратил в её истории множество ключевых событий, которые должны были привести к появлению сверхлюдей, а их катализаторы предусмотрительно сохранил. Теперь Питеру Паркеру 35 лет: его никогда не кусал радиоактивный паук на научной выставке, он живёт простой семейной жизнью с женой Мэри Джейн и детьми Ричардом и Мэй и работает журналистом в Бьюгл со своим дядей Беном. В кои-то веки Паркер счастлив, и единственное, что гложет его — это кризис среднего возраста. И нельзя не восхищаться снова и снова, как Хикман взял паучий лор, перемешал его и выдал нечто совершенно новое, но в то же время до боли узнаваемое и естественное: дядя Бен жив а вот Мэй погибла незадолго до событий комикса , работает редактором и дружит с Джоной Джеймсоном и мало того, что у них вышел шикарный дуэт, так это ещё и две очень важные для Питера фигуры, сведённые вместе , Фиск захватил Бьюгл, Бар без названия — обычный бар суперзлодеев-то нет пока , а с Гарри Питер даже не знаком.
Он отметил, что «пока не работает» над фильмом, а Marvel вряд ли заинтересованы в проекте из-за успеха фильмов с Томом Холландом.
