Revit 2025: Новинки общие и архитектурные
Revit designers can easily make an animation for their projects, delivering design ideas more effectively to clients. Built-in asset library: Architects and landscape designers using Revit 2024 no longer need to search for models or materials over the Internet. You can sync perspectives, materials, models, and lights from Revit to D5. Later changes made in Revit can also been synced in real time.
This feature is very useful when collaborating with other stakeholders who are working with older model versions. Once you have linked Coordination Models, you can manage these files in the Coordination Model tab located in the Manage Links menu. As you can see in the example below, every surface of the floor has been aligned individually with the same pattern.
To reset the pattern, you can use the Entire Surface again. This style can be described as a hybrid mode between Consistent Colors and Realistic. It will show textures like in the Realistic mode but without the global lights which sometimes can be a little buggy on floorplans. You can use the Texture style for presentation in 3D views, or floor planners, for example. However, Revit 2024 has introduced its own Color Book. This Color Book has premade colors of different sets that can be used for different materials, filled regions, etc.
Not only do the Color Books feature a variety of pre-existing color sets, such as Pantone colors, but they have also expanded to include RAL colors. Furthermore, you are allowed to search for a color in the blank field below the Color Books dialog. In order to use this feature properly, you need to be very precise when typing your search terms into the blank field. After downloading or creating your own Color Book, you can put the.

Loads have been overhauled and the older non hosted loads have been replaced with parametric, intelligent Point, Line and Area loads. These new tools are easier to use and increase accuracy and predictability when creating loads in Revit. Reinforcement Let us begin with the new features and updates with reinforcement. I will begin with the Bending Details which will be especially useful for non-standard rebar shapes.
Here in the UK United Kingdom we only tend to detail non-standard shapes and only show these details in the bending schedule, but I know that other countries have a requirement for bending details on all rebar. Bending Details are created as true vector geometry and, as such, will update and change automatically if the host rebar is amended. Bending details can be placed in views by selecting the reinforcement bar and then selecting the Bending Detail command from the context ribbon. The detail can then be placed in a free location, or you can use the Align to Bar command to keep the detail orthogonal. The Bending Detail is driven by standard Revit Type properties and, as such, you can have multiple types that you can use in different situations. The Bending Details also make use of Revit dimension styles so you will need to setup a couple of dimension styles to support the Bending Detail tools. You can also configure the amount of detail that is displayed within the bending detail. For example, you could simply show the segment length dimensions or recover all the dimensions and angles for each segment as well as hooks and linear dimensions. There are also a few options around the unfolding or offsetting of Bending Details.
When you have shapes such as links that overlap it could be confusing when showing lengths and angles of the hooks. These 3 configurations are shown in the image below using a standard link. Currently, the Bending Details cannot be tagged but I am sure that Autodesk will add this functionality in future releases. The bending details could also become a solution for certain detailing conventions such as tick and tag in sectional views and the display of bars in plan. Bending Details in Schedules The Bending Details can also be used in schedules which is especially useful for non-standard shape codes. It is worth noting that you will only see the shape once the schedule is placed onto a sheet. Again, in many other regions and countries, shape codes are always shown in the schedule regardless. In the example below, Bending Details are shown in the bending schedule with the new auto size option for rows with images. In the above image, the segment names are displayed to reduce the amount of space required but you can also configure the Bending Details specifically for use within schedules.
Here in the UK, it would only be necessary to show the bending sketch for non-standard shapes so it would be useful to see a feature where you could control which shape codes use the new Bending Detail and display on the schedule.
Revit 2024 – Best New Features
Clicking the sun setting button opens the traditional sun settings dialog with the same settings. Another enhancement includes the ability to select much shorter time increment options. Figure 22. Sun settings are now shown on the ribbon in solar study mode.
Figure 23. Solar study now has shorter time increment options. Site tools Looking at the massing and site tab below, you will notice a lot has changed.
The site tools represent the most significant change in Revit 2024 for architects, which is both exciting and a little scary! We now have a toposolid command rather than a toposurface. As the name change implies, the ground is now represented by solid geometry rather than a 2D surface.
This is the exciting part. Missing from the ribbon below is the building pad command, which is the scary part — I will explain this in the next section. Figure 24.
Comparing Revit 2024 site tools to previous versions. Toposolid Replaces Toposurface Although the toposurface and building pads are no longer available, they are preserved when a model is updated to Revit 2024. Those elements can be modified and copied.
You just cannot create new instances as the commands are gone. Figure 25 shows a toposurface and building pad after an initial model upgrade. Figure 25.
Example of a pre-Revit 2024 toposurface and building pad. To convert a toposurface, select it and follow the steps shown in Figure 26. Step 2 involves selecting a toposurface family type that can have several surface characteristics preset.

Since there is no building pad tool, Autodesk recommends that an in-place mass set to cut the toposolid be created, as shown in Figure 27. This provides a lot more options, like tunnels and sloped edges. The biggest challenge is that the workflow is not as intuitive for the average Revit user, in my opinion.

Figure 28 shows the various type settings for this new element. Notice two things. First, the toposolid is fundamentally based on the floor element.

Knowing that the element is essentially an enhanced floor element, note that apply materials is a little odd. Then I had to paint a grass material on the surface. The tricky part with painting is that the surface is made up of several facets and required several picks to paint the entire surface.
Toposolid — Creation Workflow A toposolid is created similar to a floor element. You start by sketching the perimeter of the ground to be defined and then finish the creation mode. Next, you select the toposurface and use the Add Points option on the ribbon, adjusting the offset value also on the ribbon.
Roads and walkways are created using the Sub-Divide tool found on the ribbon when a toposolid is selected. This is similar to the sub-region tool where an enclosed area is defined within the larger toposolid perimeter. The result is a solid extrusion which conforms to the ground and can be adjusted vertically.
However, the sub-divide height cannot be negative.
Dynamo for Revit 2. With improved search functionality that accounts for typographical errors and provides more relevant results, designers can quickly locate the specific nodes and packages they require, thereby saving time. This version also introduces enhanced package node identification and a more refined Python editor experience, among other upgrades. Revit Home Tech Preview and Dark Theme for Schedules The new Revit Home, currently in Tech Preview, introduces better navigation within Revit, while the dark theme for schedules and improved color conversion contribute to a user experience that is more consistent, comfortable, and conducive to extended work sessions.

Сортировка параметров проекта в свойствах Теперь параметры проекта сортируются в алфавитно-цифровом порядке в диалогах свойств экземпляра и типа.
Параметры семейств не изменились по сравнению с предыдущим поведением. Архитектурная дисциплина Архитектурная дисциплина имеет несколько новых возможностей и порадует многих архитекторов и дизайнеров. Стиль представления «Текстуры» В Revit появился новый стиль представления под названием "Текстуры". Я был в бета-группе пользователей этого стиля. Он представляет собой нечто среднее между затененным и реалистичным. Он показывает текстуру внешнего вида объекта, но без глобального освещения, поэтому материалы имеют одинаковый цвет на всех поверхностях и под любым углом. Настройки солнца на ленте При выполнении исследования солнечной активности настройки солнца теперь представлены на ленте, как показано ниже. При нажатии на кнопку настройки солнца открывается традиционный диалог настройки солнца с теми же параметрами. Revit 2024 Upgrades Site Design, Environment for Revit® 11.0 Takes it Skyward
This year I have chosen to do something a little different and split the videos into two separate areas. I will focus the first video on the Revit platform changes that will benefit all Revit users. The second video will focus solely on the structural changes and new features both in Revit 2023. Like many interface updates, these are quite subjective; some will love the dark theme and others will want to stick with the standard interface. I have also noticed that some of the browsers and dialogs are still using a white background, so, if you are using the system browser the dark theme will look a little odd. We have also gained a search function in the Project Browser which is incredibly useful, not just for searching views but also the loaded content. I can then just drag theses into the project to use them.
This new visual style allows users to see textures without having to use the realistic mode which uses lighting and other settings. I quite like this new visual style; it works well and is significantly faster than realistic. Of course, you can also use this in plans, sections and elevation views for presentations. The models can be used for in-context modelling and have rudimentary snapping via the Revit point snap function. In the example below you can see that I have linked a bridge pier across from Autodesk Docs that was authored in Autodesk Inventor. This is a great way of integrating models from many other BIM and manufacturing authoring tools.
Topography updates Toposurfaces have now been discontinued in this release and the new toposolid tool is now the preferred method to create topography. There have been several improvements with the introduction of toposolids such as the ability to cut the toposolids and also incorporate thickened layers to create raised solid regions. These can be used to represent basic landscaping and roads. In the example below, a toposolid has been excavated around concrete foundations by cutting the family from the solid. If required, the excavated volume can then be displayed. The second example shows a retaining wall.
The toposolid can be cut vertically on the back face of the wall which makes editing the toposolid very simple. If desired, cut and fill can also be calculated with a toposurface by using graded regions. Sheet, Revision and View updates Building on the updates from the previous releases, Autodesk are making working with sheets a little easier. In Revit 2024 we can now move views between sheets and keep alignments and positions.

Previously the EAM was created from everything in the model with the only filtering options being phase or room bounding, which would be considered destructive in most cases to required modeling and documentation workflows. Why is this helpful? Here are just a couple of examples I have encountered: A large existing warehouse-type facility with an attached, much smaller two-story office addition. The office has its own HVAC system.
Previously, Revit could only create one large EAM that included the warehouse and would also calculate its energy loads. A penthouse remodel within a high-rise building. Unless the entire building below was set to non-room bounding, it would be included in the energy model. Small non-conditioned out buildings on a property, such as a barn, garage, pool equipment building, etc.
This new workflow is still not perfect, but a step in the right direction. For example, there needs to be an option to define some wall s as adiabatic when using this new workflow option. Figure 1. Creating an energy analysis model based on the current view.
Figure 2. Energy analysis model created based on the current view. These models are represented within Revit as lightweight geometry and can be easily navigated. Sub-elements can be selected, and their properties are listed in the Properties palette.
If you were paying close attention just now, you might have connected the dots that a Revit model can be linked in as a lightweight model. This might be helpful with specific consultant models. Here is the big news, with this new feature … not only can you link in a Revit model, but you can link different versions of Revit models! For example, your Revit 2024 model can link in a Revit 2022 model without needing to upgrade the 2022 model.
This is a brave new world. Figure 3. However, until now, the local location was not editable. If you have a laptop, for example, with a smaller SSD C: drive, and a larger D: drive, there was no way to point the local BIM 360 storage to the more spacious D: drive.
This could easily cause the C: drive to fill up if you worked on several BIM 360 projects or just one mega project. Thanks, Autodesk. Figure 4. New cloud model cache location option in the Options dialog.
Templates and Sample Projects Two things that almost always stay the same in a Revit upgrade are templates and sample projects. This year, we lose some sample projects and gain a new template and sample project. New Imperial Template There is a new multi-discipline template. Previously there were only discipline-specific and systems i.
Due to the settings and loaded families required by specific commands and workflows, some tools in Revit would not work correctly depending on which template you started from. With the new all-discipline template, this problem can be avoided. Figure 5. The new imperial template supporting all disciplines.
New Sample Model There is a new robust set of sample models which can be used to explore Revit features and model organization. It includes seven linked models and contains phasing and design options. There is even a point cloud file that can be downloaded separately. One slight downside related to this is that the old sample models are no longer included.
So, while this new sample model is a great new resource for those learning Revit, I will miss the easy access to the lightweight residential sample model to open quickly for troubleshooting. Of course, the older versions of these files can still be downloaded per this post I wrote on my blog: Templates and Families Not Installed. Figure 6. The new sample project has seven linked models.

What's New in Revit 2024
The visual behavior is fixed and acts correctly now in the family, project, and when printing in Vector or Raster mode. You are now allowed to select multiple views and schedules from within the Project Browser and drag them onto a sheet. Select multiple Views or Schedules by holding the CTRL button The views will be arranged automatically so they do not interfere with each other. As the order is depending on your Browser Organization, it can still require you to do some adjustments, but it still saves you a lot of clicking and dragging. The Open Sheet function allows you to quickly open the sheet where the view is placed on. With Resize Rows to All, you can set a specific height, and all rows will be adjusted to that height. New options for Schedules that are placed on a sheet Wrapping Up Revit 2024 comes with a lot of nice new features and enhancements which are listed here above. The most notable change is the newly added Toposolid feature that replaces the old Toposurface. This requires you to spend some time exploring how this works.
Overall, Revit 2024 looks fresh with its revamped and modernized user interface, making it also easier to navigate. The new features will improve your workflow to be more efficient and save you some time, such as placing multiple views and schedules onto sheets. However, there are a few quirks with the new site tools that I hope get resolved. There is also a new default template, a fantastic sample model, and UI improvements. Dynamo and the Dynamo Player keep getting better. Finally, there are dozens of small changes to improve the usability of various tools. This post covers General and Architecture features. Specific MEP and Structure improvements are mentioned, but the complete notes are available on Autodesk blog post. Toposurface have been killed and replaced by Toposolid. The Subregion tool has been replaced by Sub-Divide. The way you create site elements is completely different. The following pages are going to cover these significant changes. What if floors and toposurfaces had a baby together? The new toposolid tool works in a very similar way to floors. First, you need to sketch an extrusion boundary with purple lines. Then, you can modify the Sub Elements in a similar way to Roofs and Floors. Add points at specific heights to create the slopes. The points contextual menu is a bit different from the standard floors and roofs you are used to. This new menu has actually been available since Revit 2023. When adding a point, you can either pick Along Surface or Absolute Height. This tool now works with concave site shapes. Again, the new toposolid tool is similar to floors.

Из-за настроек и загруженных семейств, требуемых определенными командами и рабочими процессами, некоторые инструменты в Revit работали некорректно в зависимости от того, с какого шаблона вы начали работу. Новые образцы моделей Существует новый надежный набор образцов моделей, которые можно использовать для изучения возможностей Revit и организации модели. Он включает семь связанных моделей и содержит варианты настройки и проектирования. Есть даже файл облака точек, который можно загрузить отдельно. Небольшой недостаток заключается в том, что старые образцы моделей больше не включены. Поэтому, хотя новая модель образца - это отличный новый ресурс для тех, кто изучает Revit, мне будет не хватать простого доступа к облегченной модели образца жилого дома, которую можно быстро открыть для устранения неполадок. Пользовательский интерфейс Пользовательский интерфейс имеет ряд изменений. Большинство иконок были обновлены в поддержку новой темной темы. Темная тема В Revit 2024 появилась более законная функция темной темы. Эта новая функция может быть установлена в соответствии с настройками операционной системы. Безопасность макросов Revit Макросы теперь отключены по умолчанию для повышения безопасности, как показано в диалоговом окне Revit Options ниже.
