Потом ей пришлось объявить себя банкротом, так как зарплаты на выплаты не хватало, а с работы из-за ухудшения здоровья пришлось уволиться и целый год жить на пенсию, постоянно принимая антидепрессанты. С тех пор она пытается защитить свои права и вернуть деньги. Женщины работали вместе, и на протяжении полутра лет Оксана красочно рассказывала знакомым и коллегам о прелестях холдинга, активно приглашая присоединиться к пирамиде.

We have been present to those enslaved by different addictions, even by war. We have taken time to educate the children and youths, especially through radio programs that in this hostile environment seek to communicate the values of life and the value of peace, reconciliation, justice, non-violence and conflict resolution. It has been very encouraging to see different religious communities offer their expertise for the radio programs. Even the students of Catholic University of South Sudan, who are participating in programs to help youths grow out of violence, are not left behind.
Despite waking up to freezing temperatures, my day included brunch with five others outside, a haircut booked several weeks ago and a trip to the beauty salon. Being out and about doing things I enjoy made returning home alone a pleasure again.
My flat no longer felt like a prison, but somewhere I could leave and return to when I wanted. I have more fulfilling days. Time in my flat is mine and the lines between home and work are no longer blurred. I am finding joy again in reading, cooking, writing, lifting weights and using my mini trampoline. As someone with no children, I have the time and money to spend on experiences and treats such as brunch and beauty appointments. Living alone and being single also means treatments like having my hair washed provide human touch that is truly nourishing. As I look forward to the rest of 2021 with cautious optimism, I feel quietly confident that I will rediscover and relish all the joys of living alone once again, being aware of my privilege while feeling grateful for the things that were taken away and are slowly coming back.
That has made me wonder about the deeper and more persistent dynamics of ministry in a time of change. Standing still by the stream and noticing its changing shoreline, I wondered: Was my primary challenge my beleaguered sense of joy? No, I realized; it was not. I was missing something more than pleasure and happiness. What had grown unsteady was my holy contentment and energizing sense of calling and purpose. I realized that I had been trying to accompany others as if my own joy were a fixed point along the stream. Naturally, I would prefer joy to be a constant. That might explain my current sense of feeling weary, overwhelmed, flooded -- maybe even washed up. What if, instead, my joy became as accommodating as a shoreline? What if, instead of resisting, I adjusted myself to the ever-changing waters, the inevitable ebbs and flows? I scanned up and down the stream looking for a single point that appeared permanent.
